Certified Service Providers (CSPs) make it easier for individuals and businesses with sales tax collection obligations to comply with the laws of a given jurisdiction as it allows them to outsource most of its sales tax administration responsibilities. CSPs are agents certified to perform all the seller’s sales and use tax functions, other than the seller’s obligation to remit tax on its own purchases.
